Why is Nobody Complaining about one of YouTube’s Site-Breaking Updates?
I’m not talking about the design, I’m talking about the way the player works.
Now videos only load WHEN THEY’RE BEING PLAYED.
For those who have a bad internet connection, no more loading all the videos you want to watch in different tabs and saving them for when you’re done. Nope. Now you’re forced to watch every video with buffer every two seconds.
And even if you have a good internet connection, some videos just take forever to load for no reason. So we’re all screwed.
I would be all like “LET YOUTUBE KNOW ABOUT THIS!” to people, but it’s been established plenty of times that YouTube doesn’t care what people think.
YouTube, please stop hiring Orangutans to make your site decisions.
